The Art Department will be opening its doors to the public on 21st September for a special exhibition by over 30 Salopian artists. A gorgeous array of postcard-sized original artworks will all be on sale to raise much-needed funds for Shrewsbury House ('the Shewsy'), the School’s youth centre in Everton, Liverpool.
The exhibition includes work by some former pupils who have gone on to achieve national and international fame in the art world – Charlie Adlard, Max Baccanello, Kit Oates and Timothy Morgan Owen – as well as former Heads of Art John Alford and Philip Woolley, and internationally-successful local artists Oliver C Jones and Alex Callaway.
There are also works by Salopian artists who may well achieve fame in the future - including the Headmaster and several current Art Scholars.
The exhibition takes place in the Art School from 2.00 - 5.00pm. Everyone is warmly welcome.
