School Play: "A Matter of Life and Death" (Ashton Theatre)

Thursday 27 June 2019 at 19:30

At the height of the Battle of Britain, a young fighter pilot is shot out of the sky. He should be dead. However, due to an unfortunate error in heavenly bureaucracy, he survives and falls in love. Can he convince the powers-that-be to let him live?

Based on Powell and Pressburger’s iconic wartime film, 'A Matter of Life and Death' by Emma Rice offers a poignant and uplifting reminder of the redemptive power of love and hope.
