Discover Darwin's letters, school books and publications in a rare chance to step behind the scenes at Shrewsbury School.

The School is fortunate to own two first editions of 'On the Origin of Species', including one signed by Charles Darwin and presented to his friend, biologist Richard Owen, who later became one of his most outspoken critics.

The tours will each last 30 minutes and are restricted to 15 people. Advance booking is essential at (Tickets will be available shortly.)

Please enter the School via the main gates on Ashton Road and follow the signs to the Library.
