We are delighted to welcome over 50 universities and Gap Year providers to the third annual Shrewsbury School University Fair.
A full programme for the day - which includes useful information on the UCAS application procedure, a jargon-busting glossary, plus a list of useful websites and further resources - may be downloaded via this link: Shrewsbury School Universities & Gap Year Fair 2019.
All pupils and their families are welcome to attend, though it is targeted mainly at parents and pupils in the Fifth and Sixth Forms.
The Fair will take place in the Alington Hall, where representatives from universities the length and breadth of the country will be on hand to answer any questions and offer an insight into the courses and life at their various institutions.
In addition, we will offer four presentations in the Ashton Theatre (on a first come, first served basis) on the following topics:
1.45 pm – 1.45 pm Student Finance, Leeds University
2.15 pm – 2.35 pm Personal Statements, Liverpool University
2.45 pm – 3.05 pm Choosing your Course and University, Nottingham University
3.15 pm – 3.35 pm World Class Study in London, Imperial, King’s, LSE, UCL
This event is free and there is no need to book. If you would like to bring a large group, please email email@example.com.
Parking will be available around the Alington Hall, but as it will be busy, you are welcome to use the Kingsland Hall and Dayboys car parks.
