We are delighted to welcome over 50 universities to the fourth annual Shrewsbury School University Fair on Friday 14th February between 1pm and 4pm.
A full programme for the day - which includes useful information on the UCAS application procedure, a jargon-busting glossary, plus a list of useful websites and further resources - will be available on the day, and can also be downloaded here: Universities Fair 2020 Programme.
All pupils and their families are welcome to attend, though it is targeted mainly at parents and pupils in the Fifth and Sixth Forms.
The Fair will take place in the Alington Hall, where representatives from universities the length and breadth of the country, as well as some internationally, will be on hand to answer any questions and offer an insight into the courses and life at their various institutions.
In addition, there will be five presentations in Quod (on a first come, first served basis) on the following topics:
1.45pm – 2.05pm: Student Finance: University of Exeter
2.15pm – 2.35pm: Personal Statements: University of Liverpool
2.45pm – 3.05pm: Choosing your Course and University: University of Warwick
3.15pm – 3.35pm: World Class Study in London: Imperial, King’s LSE & UCL
3.35pm – 3.55pm: Degree Apprenticeships: The National Apprenticeship Service
This event is free and there is no need to book. If you would like to bring a large group, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parking will be available around the Alington Hall, but as it will be busy, you are welcome to use the Kingsland Hall and Dayboys car parks.
