Biology Olympiad Success

Fourteen Upper Sixth biologists entered the Royal Society of Biology Olympiad 2019 and between them amassed four gold medals, three silver and two bronze, plus three highly commended and two commended awards.

The Olympiad consisted of two online, multiple-choice papers rewarding general biological knowledge as well as application and problem-solving.

A total of 9,465 students from 727 schools worldwide participated this year. All Salopians were awarded "Commended" or better - many congratulations to them.
