During Outdoor Week there will be three whole-day visits to Liverpool for the Third Formers. They will spend the morning getting to know the great city and the afternoon helping with the 5-11-year-olds at Junior Club, in their Nature Garden, music rooms and football cage. Then a fish and chip supper and home.
On Sunday 9th June, 25 Senior Club members are coming to school for an Activities Day hosted by our Fourth Form. Activities lined up include art, bubble football and canoeing.
Saturday 15th June is the annual visit of St Peter's Church, which is adjacent to the Club. The Grove will be hosting this year, with tea, cakes, a tour of the School, a swim and a game of rounders on the lawn.

Meanwhile, interviews with former Shewsy Club member Toni Duggan, who plays for Barcelona and the England Women’s Football Team, were featured on the BBC website and in The Telegraph this week, ahead of the Women’s Football World Cup in June:

And on 22nd May, former Club member Peter Brennan was sworn in as Lord Mayor of Liverpool.
Both Toni and Peter were Club members between the ages of five and 18 and then volunteered as helpers at the Club. Peter became a youth worker and ran the Club in the 1990s.
