Dominic was selected to race for Great Britain through trials held over the Easter holiday.
On the first day of the Regatta, Saturday 5th May, he competed in the coxless four. Thirty crews entered the event, and the GB crew performed strongly in their heat to come first and book a place in the A Final.
They held off a strong challenge from the German and Swiss crews over the first half of the Final, to open up to a length lead as they crossed the finish line first.
Not content with just one gold medal, Dominic raced in the GB eight the following day. They led from start to finish and won gold ahead of a crew from Poland.
Dominic will be hoping to be selected for the Junior World Championships, which will be held in the Czech Republic in August, just a fortnight before he takes to the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, playing the lead in the Shrewsbury School Musical ‘Rebecca – The Drowned Bride’ (20th – 25th August).
