Early season wins for the RSSBC at the Wycliffe Head

Thursday 8 February 2018

There were some very encouraging performances by the six RSSBC crews who raced last weekend at the Wycliffe Head over the 4500m course on the Gloucester Sharpness Canal.

The morning division saw the J15 boys race in two eights and the J15 girls in one eight. All three crews produced very good performances, with the boys coming first and third and the girls second in their categories.

In the afternoon the Senior Girls raced in the open eights event and the J18 quads event. The crews won both events in a strong statement for the depth of the squad.

The J16 boys raced in a coxed four in the open event, coming in second to a University of West of England crew.
