Her teacher, David Joyce (Head of Strings), expressed his delight and pride: “Rosa is the youngest student to take the LTCL level Performance Diploma that I have ever taught. She invested a great deal of time over the summer to polish off the pieces we worked on last year and she most certainly deserves her final mark.”
David has a long association with all of the pieces Rosa played: “I had lessons in Israel on the Schumann sonata, played Bach's Concerto in E Major often as a boy, and my Czech teacher (Kveta Vanacek) would be delighted (were she still here) that the violin teachers and students of today keep the Smetana alive. Well done, Rosa!”
