Tuesday 23 September 2014

Henrike Legner (MSH UVI) has been invited to join The Rodolfus Choir, a prestigious chamber choir comprising some of the finest young singers in the country. She will join them for a concert at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London this Christmas, amongst other engagements.

With a sound hailed as ‘unspeakably beautiful‘ by Gramophone magazine, The Rodolfus Choir has established itself firmly over a period of 30 years as one of the leading young choirs in the UK. Its members are all alumni of the Eton Choral Courses, one of which Henrike attended during the summer.

Conducted by their founder Ralph Allwood, the group have become renowned for their imaginative programming, their innovative and exciting performances, as well as for their extensive array of prestigious recordings.

This Christmas they will be performing a Carol Concert in St Paul’s Church Knightsbridge, a New Year’s Day concert in Douai Abbey and a late evening concert in St Martin-in-the-Fields on 30th December as part of the Brandenburg Festival, one of the most exciting classical music festivals to establish itself in recent years.
