An impressive haul of awards for Shrewsbury Model United Nations team

Shrewsbury School’s Model United Nations delegates enjoyed a very successful weekend at the Cheadle Hulme MUN Conference (5th – 6th October), winning a Highly Commended Delegation Award and several individual awards.

More than 400 delegates from 26 schools took part in the Conference, with Shrewsbury’s delegates representing the USA, Venezuela and Central African Republic. Benson Zhou, Jonny Snell and Alex Sparkes also took on the role of Committee Chairs.

Shrewsbury’s A team representing USA (James Leaver, Rhys Woodward, Milton Tai, Tom Jackson (Ambassador), Sam Evans, Nick Yale and George Collings) won a Highly Commended Delegation Award and also won Best Delegation in the Human Rights Forum.

The following also won individual awards.
