16 Old Salopians were greeted with a bright, chilly morning with blue cloudless skies.
The Secretary of this famous Golf Club, Roger Marrett, was on hand to welcome us and following coffee and bacon rolls we set off in front of the other Golfing Society playing that morning – The Old Bailey Judges – as you can imagine – everyone was on their best behaviour! The weather stayed kind and it warmed up and some great foursomes golf was played.
One of the famous New Zealand lunches was served and we all enjoyed catching up with other players whom we had not partnered or played with in the morning.
Prizes were as follows:

Longest Drive on 11th Hole - Charles Hill (SH 1980-84)
