It was the first opportunity for the crews to show the progress they have made over the winter months and they all relished the chance to get racing.
All the squads produced some fantastic results and recorded wins in their categories. A Senior Boys' VIII won the first division overall and were the fastest crew out of seventeen J18 and Senior Men’s eights, including some strong competition from schools including Abingdon, Radley, St Edward's and Shiplake.
The three Senior Girls's quads and one Senior Girls' four also put in a strong set of results. The fastest quad in the first division won the Women’s Coxless Quad event.
In the afternoon all the crews took to the water for the second division, along with the J16 VIII. The pick of the results from that division came from the J16 Boys winning their event with a very impressive row (pictured below).
