Salopian walks Shropshire Way to raise money for Ambulance charity

Thursday 25 March 2021

One Salopian has spent more than 40 hours walking to raise money for a national charity.

Issy H, (IV, MSH) walked the South Shropshire Way, a total distance of 122 miles to raise money for TASC – The Ambulance Staff Charity.

Issy said that she completed her challenge in 11 stages and felt ‘relieved and proud to finish the walk’.

“I decided to choose the TASC because it helps members of the ambulance service who have suffered mental and physical trauma whilst providing an extraordinary service to the public and I cannot thank them enough.”

At the end of her challenge, Issy has managed to raise an amazing £747 for TASC, which will go towards working to support current and retired Ambulance Services personnel and their families, regardless of role, to enhance their mental and physical well-being during times of need.

Issy is now focusing her spare time on completing her virtual work experience with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Well done Issy!
