The play tells the story of two ambitious shop assistants (played by Teddy Briggs and Ed Plaut) who run away from their master’s grocery shop for an adventure among the bright lights of Vienna. All the ingredients of farce are here: mistaken identities, Italian waiters, a sexy French maid and even a pantomime horse.
The company conveyed the humour of the piece with verve and evident enjoyment; huge congratulations are due to Dan Edwards and his team for managing such an ambitious project.
