Third Form Outdoor Week Photo Gallery

Friday 20 June 2014

Please see below a gallery of photos showing a few of the activities that the Third Form got up to last week, when they spent six days out of school.

In addition to trekking across the Shropshire hills and sleeping under canvas as part of their Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award expeditions, they learned bush craft skills with the Friends of Apley Wood and took part in an Activities Competition and a Leadership Day that focuses on teamwork, organisation and leadership skills, and helped the Shropshire Wildlife Trust with conservation work - including further work on the Shrewsbury School Drystone Wall, which is gradually being restored each year by groups of Salopian Third Formers.

Please click on image below to open up the first picture in the gallery and then click on that image to scroll on through the rest of the photos.
With thanks to the Friends of Apley Wood for providing the photos of the bush craft activities.
