Victoria, Sabrina and Williams Sculls, Saturday 20th September 2014

Monday 22 September 2014

Ideal conditions greeted the Victoria, Sabrina and Williams Sculls this year.

A particularly large entry for the Victoria Sculls had provided plenty to talk about at the boathouse over the last couple of weeks. In the end George Patterson (R) retained the trophy which he won last year, ahead of Toby Thomas (SH) and Alex Powell (M) (a repeat of the 1/2/3 from last year).

The girls’ entry may have been reduced due to injury, but there was plenty of quality on show, as Claudia Kimpton-Smith (EDH) broke the record ahead of Abi Reynolds (G) and Sian Hinton (G).

The Sabrina Sculls this year went to Harry Marshall (SH) with a gutsy display of sculling which placed him an impressive 7th overall.

The Williams Sculls were won by Ed Lewis (Rb) and Eleanor Fox (G), and the Junior Williams Sculls by Adam Pattenden (S).
