Will Bayliss (Rt IV) raises over £4,000 for the Shropshire Blood Trust Fund

Thursday 7 November 2013

Huge congratulations to Fourth Former Will Bayliss (Rt), who has raised more than £4,000 for the Shropshire Blood Trust Fund by mountain biking non-stop for 57 kilometres.

Cycling at the Llandegla Forest Mountain Biking Centre in North Wales, Will completed the black route once and the red route twice – a major physical and mental challenge. The money he raised will be used to refurbish and upgrade the Haematology Ward at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, where his father has been receiving treatment.

Will was delighted with the tremendous support he received for his efforts and was particularly grateful to family and friends who rode with him on the day.
