There were some truly amazing performances across all classes and the Senior Prize in particular was certainly hotly contested.
The result could have gone many ways but our adjudicator, Anna Hashimoto, a professional internationally renowned clarinettist who alongside performing teaches at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, decided that this year's prize should be awarded to Owen Fung (SH L6) for his impressive performance of the York Bowen Recorder Sonata.
