Honorary Doctorate for Nick Owen
Nick Owen (R 61-66), pictured with his wife Vicki, has been made an Honorary Doctor of Letters by the University of Chester for his services to broadcasting. The award took place at the Graduation Ceremony of the University College, Shrewsbury, in St Chad’s Church on Thursday 17th February. The Vice-Chancellor of Chester University is Professor Eunice Simmons, mother of Theo Simmons (Ch 10-15) and Fintan Simmons (Ch 12-17)
