Shrewsbury School is seeking an outstanding Health Centre Manager to lead and develop our 24-hour Health Centre, a vital part of pastoral care in our thriving co-educational boarding and day school. This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Registered General Nurse (RGN) to combine clinical expertise with strategic leadership, delivering exceptional healthcare provision and promoting pupil wellbeing at the highest level.

The role will report to, and work closely with, the Deputy Head (Pastoral), ensuring that the delivery of medical care is co-ordinated with the overall delivery of pastoral care across the School.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive and an experienced leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You will have proven leadership and team management skills, a strong understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding, experience working with young people, excellent communication, organisational and decision-making abilities and the ability to stay calm and resilient under pressure. The post comes with an excellent package and offers an exciting opportunity to join a unique family of schools providing world class education.

We are seeking a passionate, experienced and motivated Nursery Lead Educator to join our early years team. The successful candidate will lead and support the delivery of high quality childcare and early years education. Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.

The successful candidate will lead by example, support and supervise staff, and create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Casual Summer Lettings Assistant

Casual Summer Lettings Assistant

£12.81 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with great customer service skills to assist with our summer lettings programme at Shrewsbury School.

Flexible working throughout the period will be required, working hours throughout the day, evening, week and weekends.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Assist with the turnaround of boarding house(s) ahead of the summer lettings programme:

  • Delivering bedding, linen, and equipment as required
  • Helping prepare houses to a high standard for incoming groups

Supporting the end-of-let turnaround of boarding house(s):

  • Coordinating the pack-down and reset of boarding houses
  • Ensuring readiness for the return of pupils

Assist with group arrivals and check-ins:

  • Welcoming guests and providing site orientation
  • Conducting boarding house check-ins and fire briefings
  • Issuing key information (Wi-Fi, access codes, site rules)

Provide ongoing guest support during stays:

  • Daily check-ins with group leaders
  • Resolving issues quickly and professionally
  • Acting as a visible and approachable on-site contact

Providing support to Facility Hires, Events, Theatre & Event Front of House

This list of duties is not exhaustive, and the successful candidate is expected to be flexible in line with the needs of the role and the wider school.
