It is the School's policy to make the fees as inclusive as possible. No extra charges are made, for instance, for games, for membership of the Boat Club, or for travel to away matches or regattas. Extras are confined to those things which are genuinely personal expenditure, or incurred optionally, such as music lessons, instrument hire, stationery, visits to theatres or concerts, and any books bought to supplement those borrowed or hired from the School's book pounds.

The School is able to offer discounted fees for parents who choose to pay their fees in advance.
As there has been no draft legislation produced by the potential Labour Government on how they may impose VAT on independent school fees, the School is unable to offer any tax warranty based on what measures may be included in future legislation. This includes whether the payment of fees in advance may mitigate the impact of VAT on feepayers, as well as when any anti-forestalling measures that may backdate the application of VAT on these FIA payments. However, some commentators have suggested there may be advantages to early payment via FIA schemes.
If you wish to discuss the School’s fees in advance scheme further, please contact Tom Young ([email protected]).
