Director of Digital & Data

Permanent, full time, competitive salary

Shrewsbury School is seeking to appoint a forward-looking Director of Digital & Data with demonstrable experience leading and implementing an ambitious Digital Strategy and working effectively within a group structure. The role will take a lead on data and management information, cybersecurity, digital development, IT systems and software provision and their integration across the family of Schools. The successful candidate will work directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and have strong links to the Head and the Senior Leadership Team. The Director of Digital & Data role works closely with the COO to develop and refine the Digital strategy and the implementation of associated business plans to ensure long term IT stability.

The successful candidate should be a commercially orientated IT professional with a relevant professional qualification and experience of operating at a senior level or leading an IT function in a premium service led SME. Experience of cybersecurity, AI and digital technology, management information and data reporting, infrastructure and systems are all essential skillsets, along with the ability to drive continuous improvement. The post comes with an excellent package and offers an exciting opportunity for an established IT Director or a highly experienced IT professional ready to take the next step.

HR Administrator

HR Administrator

Permanent, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 Weeks

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, detail orientated HR Administrator to join our growing and vibrant HR team, to assist with the delivery of an effective HR service.

Being the first point of contact in the department, you will offer a professional and responsive customer-focused service. You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we look to implement new systems and ways of working.

Every day offers new challenges in this busy and varied role, where the postholder can expect to be involved in a range of HR activities. Duties will include the recruitment and onboarding of new employees in accordance with our safer recruitment procedures, inputting and maintaining of HR databases, administration and organisation of mandatory training as well as general HR administration.

The role requires strong attention to detail, organisation and IT skills, an ability to multitask and switch between work. As well as excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure key stakeholders are kept informed.

Whilst the role is based at Shrewsbury School wider support for the Shrewsbury family of schools is required.
