Notices to Parents and Guardians

A message to all new parents regarding the Parent Portal

We use the secure Firefly Parent Portal as a means of sending out pupil reports electronically rather than by post. Parents can also view their child’s timetable via the Portal, update their contact details, and access information from talks given to parents as part of the Personal and Social Development programme.

If you have not already logged in to the Parent Portal, you can do so via the following link, which can be accessed via the ‘Parents’ tab in the top menu bar of the School website:

This includes a step-by-step guide to logging in to the Parent Portal for the first time, which is a simple and straightforward process. If you have any questions or problems with this, the IT Department will be happy to help. They can be contacted at

Salopian Charity Postcard Exhibition in aid of the Shewsy, Saturday 21st September, 2.00-5.00pm

This Saturday, the Art Department is holding a special exhibition of original postcard-sized artworks by more than 30 Salopian artists to raise much-needed funds for Shrewsbury House ('the Shewsy'), the School’s youth centre in Everton, Liverpool.

There are lots of wonderful pictures – all available to buy – some by former pupils who have gone on to achieve national and international fame in the art world, others by pupils and staff who may well achieve fame in the future...

The exhibition is open to the public from 2.00 – 5.00pm. More details and a glimpse of some of the artwork on show are included under 'Forthcoming Events' below. Everyone warmly welcome.
