Live streaming of the House Singing Competition, Friday 13th October
The Inter-House Singing Competition has for some time now been one of the highlights of the Shrewsbury School year.  For the first time this year, and on a trial basis, we will be ‘live streaming’ the event online to enable those who live further afield to have the opportunity of watching the Competition and supporting the pupils from afar.  Details of how to access the live stream will be emailed to all parents and guardians during the course of next week.

Shrewsbury School Parents' Association Drinks Reception at the House Singing Competition

Parents and friends are warmly invited to come and watch The Tucks next Friday. The 3½-mile cross-country route starts and finishes in Meole village on the football pitch behind Meole Brace Primary School (postcode SY3 9HG). Please note, however, that space for parking is relatively limited.

Music and drama events in Shrewsbury this weekend
After weeks of busy rehearsals squeezed in amongst A-Level preparation and UCAS applications, members of the Sixth Form will be directing and acting in performances of John Webster's The Duchess of Malfi on both Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October at 7.30pm in the Ashton Theatre. Tickets are free and available on the door.

And on Sunday 8th October at 7.30pm, soloists and ensembles from the School are appearing in a concert in St Alkmund's Church, Shrewsbury. It promises to be a lovely event and is in aid of the Shrewsbury Company of Drapers and their charitable work in the borough. Please see 'Forthcoming Events' below for further details.
