Work Experience
Work experience is built into the pupil experience at Shrewsbury. Each year there is a focus on the Fifth Form pupils gaining a work-related opportunity to learn valuable skills, experience the workplace and taste different careers.
Work experience is also encouraged for our Sixth Form students to further their previous insights to enhance future applications and University applications. Pupils can access an internal database of opportunities created from contacts within the Old Salopian community, the parent body, and the school's friends.

The pupil was a fantastic placement student! They were in various departments across the week, asked lots of questions about the company and its establishment, as well about each department and their responsibilities. They were a delight to have and we would happily welcome them back!
The pupil was proactive and conscientious. They were very efficient in their work, whilst being detailed and thorough.
