Global Social Leaders appeal for food bank donations

The Global Social Leaders Society is looking to keep a strong connection going with Shrewsbury Food Bank and is appealing for any pupils to bring donations back with them when they return after the holidays.

Henry L, (L6, Rb) said: “The Food Bank are looking for any non-perishable food or toiletries, and each week they make other specific requests, which can be found at https://www.barnabascommunityprojects.org.

“As an example, this week they are looking for tinned main meals, custard, and toilet roll. When pupils are returning in April, if they could bring with them some items for the food bank, this would be greatly appreciated. Another way that this could be achieved (for overseas parents) would be through donations which can be made through this link: https://www.barnabascommunityprojects.org/donations.

 We feel this is a very worthy cause at this time and would really appreciate your help.
