Rachel Egan is well-known mental health campaigner and trainer who combines her lived experience of anorexia with academic interest and work experience to offer training and support to young people and the people around them. She currently works for Mind, the mental health charity.
Rachel spoke to parents in a webinar on Tuesday 10th May. If you missed the talk the video is now available to watch below.
This session was aimed at parents who want to understand more about eating disorders, what causes eating disorders and how they can help their child on the path to recovery. Rachel discusses her own experiences, top tips on supporting a young person with an eating disorder and where to get more support for yourself.
