Salopian walks Shropshire Way to raise money for Ambulance charity
One Salopian has spent more than 40 hours walking to raise money for a national charity.
Issy H, (IV, MSH) walked the South Shropshire Way, a total distance of 122 miles to raise money for TASC – The Ambulance Staff Charity.
Issy said that she completed her challenge in 11 stages and felt ‘relieved and proud to finish the walk’.
I decided to choose the TASC because it helps members of the ambulance service who have suffered mental and physical trauma whilst providing an extraordinary service to the public and I cannot thank them enough.
At the end of her challenge, Issy has managed to raise an amazing £747 for TASC, which will go towards working to support current and retired Ambulance Services personnel and their families, regardless of role, to enhance their mental and physical well-being during times of need.
Issy is now focusing her spare time on completing her virtual work experience with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Well done Issy!
