The Tatler Schools Awards handpick the nominated schools from a carefully created shortlist, following the Taters Schools Guide team travelling across the country touring independent schools.
We are proud that our distinctive brand of whole-person education has also been recognised in the 2023 TES Awards, where we were finalists in three categories, as a finalist in the 2023 Independent School of the Year Awards, and now in the 2024 Tatler School Awards.
Headmaster Leo Winkley commented: “It is an honour to be recognised by the Tatler Schools Awards as a nominated school in the category of Best Public School. To be chosen as one of five schools from across the host of excellent British public schools – which remain the gold standard around the world – is a fantastic accolade and a great honour.
“It is a reflection of the vibrancy of the Salopian community, the great efforts of our pupils and the inspiration provided by our teachers, pastoral and support staff.
“The Tatler Schools Guide is a leading publication in the independent schools' sector, and for Shrewsbury to be nominated in these awards is a great privilege.”
We look forward to the Tatler Schools Awards ceremony taking place on Monday, 25th September.
We were also pleased to be included in The Week Independent Schools Guide and recognised as being ‘Great for boarding’.
