OS Football Tour 2021

It’s been a hard day’s night.

Sixteen Salopians assembled for the traditional Old Salopian Football Club pre-season Bank Holiday tour, this time to Bristol instead of the more usual European destinations. After a heavy Friday night, our tourists took on Torpedo FC from Bristol and, after a promising start, they were sunk by a well organised opposition. Saturday night proved equally challenging before the second match of the tour, this time against Bristol Phoenix who rose from the ashes of a 0-1 deficit to defeat the OSFC. The awards of Player of the Tour and Best Tour Newcomer were both given to George Pearce (S 12-17 ) and the more dubious but highly coveted TC award was given to Rob Stott (O 08-13).
