An evening of friendship in Hong Kong

The Salopian Community in HK gathered for drinks and canapes at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Causeway Bay. Former, current and prospective parents mingled with Old Salopians and School staff who were visiting on admissions trip.

The event was organised by the Hong Kong Friends of Shrewsbury School which supports the admissions team and arranges social events for Salopians in the city. Mr Bell was delighted to be reunited with residents of School House from his time as Housemaster and Mrs McKenzie caught up with some of her talented musicians, while Mrs Pritchard met with former students and prospective parents in her role as Admissions Tutor.  Old Salopian Ed Plaut (S 2012-17) who is based in Australia also dropped in as he was visiting on a business trip! A big thank you to the Friends group especially Janet Ng and Betty Ip for arranging the evening.
