Old Salopians making waves in broadcasting

Dr Kiran Majoria (I 2007-12) is a TV Doctor and Meg Elliot (MSH 2014-16) is an up and coming podcaster.

Kiran is following a very exciting career as both a GP & a stand-up comedian. His ability to use humour to tackle health issues has led him to the sofa on daytime TV where he is a regular on BBC Morning Live. He also recently spoke at a TEDxManchester on the subject of  ‘Why Comedy Will Save Your Life’ – explaining how laughter really is the best medicine

Meg Elliot (MSH 2014-16) has produced a brand new podcast about folk music & the landscape featuring the Shropshire countryside. Meg is part of the BBC Audiolab Accelerator programme developing new podcasting talent. Meg frequently references the Shropshire countryside in her series ‘Heart and Stone’.
