We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Aoife B (EDH, UVI) who has successfully gained a place at the prestigious Royal Marines School of Music for September.
Following a rigorous audition process and physical assessment last week, Aoife impressed so much that she was offered a place on the spot—an exceptional and rare achievement. She will be joining as a singer, oboist and percussionist, marking the beginning of an exciting career in the Royal Marines Band.
Reflecting on her success, Aoife said: “I am so happy to have been offered a job at the Royal Marines Band starting in September. I was expecting to wait until late July for a decision, but after my week-long audition, which included both music and fitness tests, I was offered a place immediately.”
This is a fantastic accomplishment, and we look forward to following Aoife’s journey through the band. Congratulations, Aoife!
