Honours Even in OS Matches v The School
No less than five Old Salopian football teams descended on the School for OS Match Day on Saturday 5th November, together with an OS Women’s netball team and six Fives pairs (both men and women).
In Fives the Old Salopians won comfortably, the OS netball team went down narrowly to the School, and in football the Old Salopians recorded three wins, one draw, and one loss to a well-drilled School 1st XI.
After the Saturday game and a celebratory evening in town, two teams of players valiantly returned to the Site the next day to play the Alex Wilson Memorial match in very wet conditions.
To all 80 OS players involved over the weekend we say thank you. Until next year!
