Match Day Christmas Special

Despite the inconsiderate decision of FIFA to organise the England v Senegal World Cup match to coincide with the Salopian Club Christmas Drinks on Sunday 4^th December, there was a good gathering of Old Salopians, parents and families in the Alington Hall, many of whom dropped in after an uplifting School Carol Service in Chapel. Serenaded by Billy Gardiner, a current pupil, and refreshed by generous servings of mulled wine, cava and canapes, many departed with an early Salopian preview of the coming Christmas season.
