On Saturday eight crews travelled to Dorney Lake to take on Eton and Westminster in a private match.

The event saw the 1st VIII, 2nd VIII, 3rd Four and J16 VIII take on the opposition over a 2,000 meter and a 750 meter race. The J15s took two boys and two girls eights to race in two 1,000 meter races.

The event saw positive progress made by all eight crews and provided ideal preparation for the National Schools Regatta taking place over the first weekend of the Summer half term. There was a mix of results against the crew’s respective opposition.

The event played host to the third running of the W.E.K Anderson Bowl match with Eton. The final tally saw Eton retain the trophy with a win by three to two in events where the schools boated identical crews.
