Perfect weather for this year's J15 Rowing Camp

Over the first few days of the Easter holiday the J15 rowers had a training camp based at school.

The perfect weather conditions allowed for fantastic training on the Severn and at Bomere Pool. The coaching-intensive training sessions saw all of those in attendance make significant progress over the four days. It was great to have the J16 and Senior coaches working with the squad to help develop the pathway for the athletes.

After dinner talks provided a chance to develop race awareness from video analysis and the chance to chat about all the things the pupils can do to thrive both on and off the water.

The final day saw the squad getting some side-by-side race practice off stake boats at Bomere to prepare them for the racing in the weeks ahead. This was followed by a wonderful barbeque in the sun on the lawn outside Kingsland House.
