Sixth Former's EPQ poster displayed at International Conference

A Lower Sixth Form pupil has had his Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) work displayed at an international conference.

Gabriel H (SH, LVI) completed work experience at Walsall Manor Hospital, where he was advised by them to submit his EPQ on sports gambling as a research poster to the International Current Advances in Gambling Research conference in Amsterdam.

Gabriel’s poster was displayed at the conference, which Gabriel attended as first author, giving him the opportunity to discuss his project with visitors.

This is a great achievement for a Sixth Form pupil and will offer him invaluable experience going forward.
