Six Alex Wilson sports scholars returned to play in the annual memorial match
In a fitting tribute to the late Alex Wilson (Rb 03-08), no less than six Alex Wilson sports scholars returned to play in the annual memorial match on 7th November. In an exhibition of champagne football (despite the previous night’s parties!) the match between two Old Salopian teams ended in a 3-3 draw and was decided on penalties won by the blues. Our thanks as ever go to Matthew Clark for yet again turning out to referee this fixture.
