Oxford Arts Day

A Salopian Soiree ....
Amidst Oxford’s dreaming spires a total of 45 Salopians and friends gathered for a memorable Salopian Arts Day on 31st March. A masterly tour de force was given by Nicholas Barber (SH 54-58) at the Ashmolean Museum where he had been Chairman during its rejuvenation project a few years ago.
Tea followed in the ante-chapel of Wadham College before the assembled company settled down in the Holywell Music Room to enjoy a Salopian Soiree of music and singing of the very highest order, including the world premiere of Two Settings of Hywel John by Richard Eteson (G 89-93). We look forward to more!
