Experience adventure at 2023 CCF Camps

The CCF runs two major camps open to cadets in either our Army, Royal Marine or RAF Sections.  

Some boys and girls are already signed up for these but places are still available for CCF cadets who wish to take the opportunity for some unique and low cost adventure experiences. Camps run over the first week of both Easter and Summer holidays, but have different themes as follows:  

CCF Easter Adventure Camp - 25-31 March 2023 (first 6 days of Easter holidays)

Shrewsbury's own popular adventure week in Snowdonia run at Talargerwyn each year. Climb, paddle, bike, mountaineer, explore underground, go karting - aimed at Fourth Formers looking for adventure, but open to Fifth and Lower Sixth too. 16 places available, cost is £200.  

CCF Summer Military Camp - 1-7 July 2023 (first week of Summer holidays)  

Shrewsbury's own popular military camp involving fieldcraft exercises, shooting and much more. 30 places open to cadets from any section aimed at Fourth, Fifth and Sixth form. Cost is £150.
