Forty-six members of the Old Salopian Football Club attended the annual end of season dinner in London at the weekend.

Tributes were paid to Nick Jenkins for his nine years as Director of the Salopian Club and supporter of the OSFC. On the field the outstanding contribution of Jonathan Jones was celebrated with the awarding of the Craig Buchanan Shield.

There are more than 150 members of the football club with 80 players featuring in league fixtures. The Club currently fields a 1st XI, 2nd XI and a revitalised Veterans XI. The first XI reached the quarter finals of the Arthur Dunn Cup losing to the Carthusians. They also enjoyed a successful tour to Amsterdam and have a tour to Prague booked for next year.

The OSFC are hoping for a busy Summer transfer window! They’re always looking to recruit new players. For more information on how to join, please contact [email protected] or Instagram oldsalopianfc.
