Old Salopian Hunt runners braved the icy conditions
Twelve Old Salopian Hunt runners braved the icy conditions on 27th November to line up for their annual race against the RSSH. The OSH emerged victorious, thanks in no small part to the Mallet brothers, Ed (S 08-13) and George (S 07-12), who comfortably led the field throughout - Results.
At the post match tea, an inscribed Gentleman of the Runs baton was presented to Peter Middleton in recognition to his service to the Hunt, particularly during a golden period of 2008-2016 when he was Master in Charge.
Over 30 members attended the subsequent OSH Dinner to round off yet another successful day expertly organised by Peter Birch (DB 66-71), Chairman of the OSH.
