On the afternoon of Wednesday 21st September, eighty-seven pupils took to the water for the Boat Club's annual VSW Sculling race.

Sixty-three pupils were racing in singles and twenty-four of the J15’s taking part in doubles.

With little wind and stream the conditions were perfect for some great racing. One second separated the over winner of the Victoria Cup, Bill H (Rt, UVI) from second place Johnny F (Ch, UVI).

The Senior Girls event saw Alice C (G, UVI) produce a strong row off the back of her GB selection in the summer to win the Kitchin Cup.

There were impressive results from Joe D (PH, V) and Robbie L (S, IV) winning the J16 (Sabrina Cup) and J15 boys (Williams Cup) events respectively. The J15 boys double event saw Thomas B-B & Mark R (R, IV) record the fastest time.

Sophie S (M, V) and Seren C (MSH, IV) recorded the fastest times in the J16 Girls and J15 Girls events respectively to win the Case Cup (J16) and Fox Trophy (J15). Charlotte K and Meredith J (M, IV) won the girls J15 doubles event.

The fastest four scullers from each house are used to determine the winners of the Senior Challenge Sculls Trophies. Radbrook won the boys event with Emma Darwin Hall winning the girls event.
