Polo players strike Gold and Bronze at Senior Schools National Championships

Our polo players had a successful day at the Senior Schools National Championships at Rugby Polo Club last weekend, with the intermediate teams winning gold and bronze medals.
Robert M (S, UVI), Grace Y (G, UVI) and Konrad B (O, V) won the Lower Intermediate class, which was decided by a penalty shootout against Cheltenham College in an exciting final.
Towa N (EDH, UVI) and Jason G (O, LVI) were supposed to play in the Novice category, but due to injury to the third member of their team they joined a player from another school to play up a level in the Lower Intermediate class. They rose to the challenge and won the bronze medal!
Nathan H (Ch, V) competed as part of a Beginner team, with two players from other schools. He has been nominated 'most improved player' this year by our coach, who is pleased with the progress he has shown.
Well done to all our players for their achievements and the dedication they have shown throughout the year.
