Sixth former secures a spot in Hong Kong's Ice Hockey team ahead of Winter Games
A Sixth Form pupil has been selected to represent Hong Kong in the Asian Winter Games.
Andrea L (G, UVI) has been selected to play for the Hong Kong Women’s Ice Hockey team in the Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games, which takes place from 30th January.
Last year Andrea played for Hong Kong in the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships, where she was a part of the bronze-medal winning team as well as being awarded the Best Player of the Team award.
Andrea said: “I am incredibly honoured and thrilled to be selected to represent Team Hong Kong, China at the Asian Winter Games.
“This opportunity means so much to me and reflects all the dedication, discipline and hard work I have put in over the years. Most importantly, I wouldn’t be able to achieve this without the unwavering support from my family, coaches, teammates, and the school.
“Competing alongside such exceptional athletes will be both a challenge and an incredible source of inspiration. I am excited to reunite with my teammates, push our limits and make the most of this remarkable experience.”
We wish Andrea the best of luck.
