A night of entertainment - Open Mic Night's a hit with pupils
On Sunday night, Quod was filled to bursting point with happy music-lovers.
The second Open Mic Night of the year, organised by the inimitable Laurie M (Rb, UVI) and the indefatigable Ethan P (I, UVI), broke all the records set by the first one last term.
It was SRO (standing room only) as the audience were treated to sublime acts such as Cece L (G, UVI) and Scarlett S (G, LVI) performing Perfect by Ed Sheeran while everybody waved their torchlights.
Other highlights included Billy G (SH, LVI) and Luke W (SH, LVI) in duo mode, Libby H (MSH, V) and her rendition of Stay by Rhianna, All Things Jazz with guest vocalist Kate W (M, UVI) singing Lovefool by Postmodern Jukebox, and quite a bit more.
Last, but by no means least, was the wonderfully creative post-grunge Rock Band led by Laurie M. All in all, a wonderful night’s entertainment!
