Exploration Week - the new multi activity week for Fourth Formers
Exploration Week is a new multi activity week for all our Fourth Formers held between Monday 12th to Friday 16th June.
The week is positioned after internal examinations and is the culmination of our Thursday PM programme combined with some useful Futures (Careers) and PSD (Personal and Social Development) activities. The five day programme also includes expedition trips away from school for some pupils. Parents of day pupils involved in Silver DofE and Adventure Society activities should note that your child will have the nights of Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th away from home during that week whilst the CCF have an additional night of Monday 12th, as well as the aforementioned nights.

Clothing and Equipment for expedition groups
We will supply all tentage, stoves, sleeping bags, first aid, safety equipment and also have a stock of clothing items for loan. It is helpful if pupils can perhaps provide their own gear, ie walking boots, proper waterproofs as this reduces pressure on our stores, but please do not feel the need to make special purchases.
Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
You will have already received information on this from Mr Will Reynolds who is I/C Silver DofE.
